I have ordered 12 of the 500ml flasks. I was going for 250ml but they are now discontinued. This will keep me in 6 cider and 6 ale yeast starters at any time, which is fine as a starting point!

i am getting a small fridge on Freecycle to put in the cellar so that I can keep them at a constant temperature! Room for growth too! I now just need a wine rack and some beer crates in there and we are good to go for large-scale production and storage.

Flasks arrived - they are very nice! Although graduated to 500ml about half-way up, I reckon you can get 750-800ml into these when warming it up an hour or so before pitching, so ideal size for yeast starters for making 1 Gallon batches I reckon.

Ordered them from GPE, a company that I think was linked on the forum somewhere. They were good on the phone and they seem quite reasonable for what is a very good quality product.

I mentioned GPE previously in this thread. My 3L ones arrived from them yesterday.
