hello one and all, my first brew is underway, but still no bubbles in my airlock, but i opened my fermentation bucket. and it,s now got a really good head on it , and my flat smells wonderful, like a bakers, but it,s been 2 days do you think my brew will be ok, im really new to this so any advice would be great, im brewing coopers english bitter, it was really flat yesterday but now as a big head on it, advice please because im a virgin. ha ha and i have,nt been able to say that for a while.

thank you andy. :drink:

It'll be fine.

In my opinion, airlocks on buckets are usually pretty pointless because it's rare to find a bucket which has a gas-tight lid, and if the pressure can escape any other way your trap won't bubble.

If it's got a head of foam, it's working :thumb:
