I started a Muntons premium pilsner a week ago today, The froth is slowed down air lock never really go going , air escaped elsewhere I think. just done hydrometer reading it's saying 1.010. Should i give it more days to drop lower?

Do another reading with your hydrometer two days after the last time you did it and if the reading has changed it is still fermenting. If the reading is still 1.010 then fermentation has stopped so go ahead and keg/bottle it. Don't want to keg/bottle it while it is still fermenting!

Checked today, was 1.008 so Keged up with some prime sugar.
Cheers all

Did you get the same reading on two consecutive days, if so it's has stopped fermenting, if not it may still be going, shouldn't be too much of an issue in the keg hopefully.

You shouldn't of kegged it. I said only keg it if the readings are the same and if they are different leave it for longer until you get two readings the same... The two readings you did were different... Your beer might not turn out as strong as it should be. Not sure why you asked when you were going to keg it either way.

Whoops to late. Read instructions and said reading should drop to 1.008 before bottling or legging.

You should, as well as getting a stable hydrometer reading, wait until the beer looks clear enough to drink, which is likely to take as least a fortnight. It's most important when bottling to do this to avoid sediment in the bottle which can get stirred up when you pour. but even in a keg it's better to have less sediment to avoid any chance of off flavours occuring. The beer will still be ready to drink in the same total time because you won't need to leave it as long after carbonation for the flavour to clear up.

I tried a reading today, said 1.002. Tastes quite nice slightly cloudy and a good head, needs a slow pour from keg. I won't be so impatient next time, might try an IPA next.
