As I've been really busy recently a full brew day is out of the question. So I'm thinking of doing the extract version of GHs Czech Pilsner. I already have the Saaz hop pellets and plenty of them. The recipe call for 6lb of dried extra light malt extract. I've been able to find some liquid pilsner malt in a 6lb tub.

Could this be used as a replacement for the DME?

Hi @RichardM thanks for the answer and the link. Could I ask, do you recommend LME over DME or visa versa?
I've only ever brewed kits and then graduated to AG, so never done extract brewing. I use DME for making starters and when I used to do one can kits I used DME instead of sugar. I can tell you that DME is horrible stuff to work with, as soon as it gets near a bit of steam it sticks together and is hard to handle.
Liquid is probably easier to use, but if buying mail order the postage for the amount needed for a recipe will probably be more than for the equivalent amount of DME.
I also know that if you are going to Wilko for supplies I think they only have DME
