Well I took another SG reading today and it hadn't changed a bit so I took the advice I got on here and give it a gentle stir.

I was careful not to splash as I also took care not to disturb the blanket of CO2 ontop.

That was about 20 mins ago and I just had my first kick (bubble) in days so jobs a goodun.

Cheers guys

Nice one :thumb: Give it a couple more days to do its thing then take a reading to see if it's come down any further

I obviously had a wee taste and its OK. I know its young but I was wondering does lagering and time let the flavour come out?

Yeah time helps allot, depends on the brew and your own tastes but a couple of weeks somewhere warm then a couple somewhere cold usually does the trick for me

I was planning a week warm then 4 cold, but I'm starting to lean on 2 weeks warm then half batch 4 weeks other have 6-8 weeks.

Got a keg of flat lager to get through in 2 weeks lol.

Now I know not to keg flat lager.
