Evening all
I am looking to get a new boil pan (75ltr) and gas boiler ring so I can move out of the kitchen and into my garage.
I am off to the USA in a couple of weeks and was thinking of picking up a Blichmann or Edelmetall propane burner.
Anyone have any experience of these? Would I need any adapters to get it to work with UK gas bottles.
Other options I have looked at are the Fokker range from Hamiltons website.
Any opinions appreciated.
Thanks

I have a Foker, can't fault it. £27 and furious boils when I need them. Marvellous.

I had an email from one of their directors 4 weeks ago stating they had some on order, none on sale to date though!!! feel free to share the link if you come across one though.

failing that i'll grab one in the usa in a couple of weeks. Only i'm not sure how easy it would be to bing back on the plane with me.

I had an email longer than that ago maybe even Jan time and still havnt seen um appear. I think the home brew market is changing very quickly imo I think we'll see other proper high power burners over in UK soon

Sounds like a gap in the market. Perhaps I should ship a load in from the US and Sell them on. I don't mind paying extra for a quality set up I just want to make sure it'll work on our gas bottles or can be adapted easily if necessary

Hello!
I have a similar question; I’m looking for a powerful burner to get my 80-90L to boil.
Why are they so difficult to find in the UK? Is there some around it?
