Fruit Beer

Hi,

Just a few questions. Has anyone tried using some fruit juice in with a kit? A while ago I tried some Mango flavoured beer (Mongozo or something!) I realy liked it but not seen it in the shops since. Been thinking of trying to create it but didn't want to waste time and effort if I am likely to end up chucking it away.

I can only use kits as don't have the time/space/experience for AG. I guess I will have to calculate the sugar content of the juice but are there any other things I should be aware of? Was thinking that lager kit may be a good start?

Yeah, add too much and you nearly have a wine. Lol.

Raspberry wheats are fantastic.

I was thinking maybe 2 or 3 litres to a 40 pint kit and adjusting additional sugar accordingly to get 4 - 5% max.

Anyone else got any thoughts or experiences?
