My keezer recently broke down, and I'm currently looking for a new one. I'd rather not buy a new fridge/freezer as there seem to be plenty of secondhand ones. Well, plenty of secondhand fridges. Freezers are harder to come by, at least one that'll fit two cornys. Many have those stupid little steps which means you can't fit two cornys and a gas cannister (which I can in my broken one). If I get one that's too big, it won't fit in my car.

Fridges are obviously harder to determine if you can fit two cornys. Often the temperature dial sits right in the way of allowing two to sit comfortably. There's also a step at the bottom sometimes, and shelving on the door also limits space.

Can anybody give examples of what size fridge (in litres), or the brand of fridge, that fits two cornys?

yeah give me a sec i saw a few threads about this exact subject. also the last fridge i bought was specifically becasue if you have to you can sawzall the inside of the door and it will fit two cornies.

i basically stole a midea 4.4 from target when it was on sale. its the same as the danby 4.4.

they are great fridges with a ton of space inside.

i can fit all sorts of configurations of small kegs in there without any mods, but i got it because another member showed me that if you shave off the inside door with a sawzall like this:

you can fit 2 corniess inside and a tank on the hub in the back.

heres some threads on fitting 2 cornies in a minnfridge.

also this is another option, its a great work aroudn to fitting cornys anywhere, you just build the fridge around them.

if i didnt exclusivley minkeg i would prolly do somehitng similar.

sorry for the multiple post but i found the danby 2 keg conversion thread. its exactly what you are looking for. this poster went all out with the conversion but you can defiantely do a much simpler version. without the tower and bling.

its very detailed with inventory price list pics, along with great ideas, and step by step pics on where to drill and what to cut.

It's a Logik LFC50W12, no idea how old it is as it was in the house when we moved in.

I can just squeeze the 2 cornys in.

Holes in the door were easy as no refrigerant lines there. One hole in the back for gas line was OK to do just gently pushed a screwdriver through the insulation on the back and it popped right through the (surprisingly soft) inner plastic of the fridge.
