I had a 60” Panasonic LED TV break down on me in April 2020, three weeks after the 5 year warranty had expired. I’m sure they now have poxy timers in them that are set to self detonate the most expensive part after a set time!

I remember a burglar alarm company adding timers to alarm systems to trip them after the g,tee had run out , so they could charge for a call out or sell the customer a service contract.
It was on watchdog if I remember correctly.

Why are programmes failing to load on my Humax Freesat box?

We have become aware of an issue affecting Humax Freesat set top boxes where they are unable to playback content from within BBC applications (including iPlayer, News and Sport), despite being able to open the apps.

Humax have assured us that they are working on resolving this issue as soon as possible.

We'll update this page as soon as we have more information.

My Humax Freesat boxes are having problems with YouTube putting up a message that they are aware of the problem and working on it.
Is it the same for everyone with a Humax Freesat ?

I player now works on mine I haven't Checked youtube but know there was a problem.
