A new member has made me realise there seem to be precious few of the fairer sex on this forum, so come on, hands up, what are you?

Myself: No beard (unless I'm on holiday and can't be bothered to shave), no dog, but still an Ale Man.

You and me both, although I can't be bothered to shave most of the time (holiday or not), I think I developed a perma-stubble

I'm afraid the first option stems from the common misconception that all narrowboaters are bearded, dog owning Real Ale types.

That simply is not true!

It doesn't even relate to some of the blokes.

I have a beard today, but I didn't have one two weeks ago and I wont have one in an hour :grin:
My majority drink is beer of all descriptions but when the mood takes me I'll drink wine, cider and spirits I have even been known to drink cocktails :lol:

I drink what's fullest usually, got a good 50 bottles of spirits and liquers (cocktail books are more expensive than the price on the cover!) and easily that much wine too. But right now it's lager :)
