I’m not having a good brewing day. Just had to poor 40 pints of fizzy cider down the drain, it smelt and tasted disgusting on a plus side it was very fizzy.

My other problem is with a coopers lager kit. I have made about 10 of these without any problems. This one has been in the fermenting bucket for 9 days at a steady 21C and only has a reading of 1020 “started at 1040” I would of expected below 1010 by now and ready for bottling, although the inside rim has a nice tide mark I have what looks like dried yeast floating on the top. I would appreciate some advice please.
