im brewing my very first larger and first brew at that. i followed the instructions as best i could for somebody who has never done this before. i have had my first 6 days waiting for it to ferment to 1.006 and i am now on to the secondary stage. i have bottled up some and the rest is in the pressure container. i need to know basicaly what temperature it needs to be stored at for this stage as the monual just says cool (fridge cool or like 10 degrees cool?). also at this moment the larger is quite cloudy is this likley to reduct with time, finaly had a small taste when i was bottling and it diddnt taste too good (tbh awfull) at the 6th day should it taste like this?

thanks for helping me i just dont know what to expectwith this first brew

hi robbo, keep the temp up in secondary, most keep inside for at least a week before moving outside or wherever to finish conditioning. After six weeks you should have a really tatsy clear pint, 3 weeks start to finish is the bare minimum for impatient drinkers ;)

Get another kit on the go as soon as possible, that will distract you from the first one - and just keep on this cycle if you can

 CS

Hi thanks for your quick reply, I have moved them out the fridge, was only in for a few hours anyway, I have put them in the porch as the instructions say cool. But they also say it'll be ready after 15 days. I will open one after that to give it a try but keep the rest in longer.

For my next one I might try the Mexican Cerveza by coopers.

Again thanks for getting back to me I need all the info I can get as I'm new to this.
