Hi,
I'm going to follow this recipe tomorrow and want to make sure I've understood the hop schedule correctly:
https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/cloud-9-ipa/
"THE BOIL
Boil time (mins): 60
Additions and timing:
50g Chinook – 10 min
30g Centennial – 10 min
80g Centennial – Whirlpool @ 80c for 20mins
50g Chinook – Whirlpool @ 80c for 20mins"
Does that sound right? It's a West Coast IPA recipe so I can understand that approach, plus the dry-hopping, getting a very hoppy result. Will it have the right bitterness though?
Just checking.
