Just got my first ever couple of brews on. Just kegged 40L of Coopers IPA which seemed to ferment well over the last 6 days from 1045 to 1005. Have syphoned into a King Keg barrel with top sprinkler tap / co2. Should be good I hope.
Cleaned my FV and got a Coopers Stout going with 250g demerara, 250g molasses sugar, 250g muscovado, 250g white sugar and couple of good dollops of black treacle. I have high hopes for this one ...
Not sure of what barrel to use for the stout ? I work away so I like the idea of the king keg top tap with co2 for storing for 2 to 3 months ? Any advice would be good.
Best birthday present getting the brewing kit ... 44yo on friday so hoping for a sip of the above by the end of May then leave to condition in to june / july.
