So that went really well I think😬
liquor volume and temperature worked out okay.
I put the yeast nutrient in the boil at 45 instead of 15 so I went again at 15..dunno what difference this might make.
took an OG @1.050…should be 1.041 target.
what difference might this make?

Tasted horrible. 😆

sitting in the fermenter @ 19c waiting for a dry hop blast on Tuesday

When you said it tasted horrible did you mean like sweet and not like beer because that is what it should taste like.
Wait and see after it has fermented it will hopefully taste like beer then
 
Once the hops are in I don’t mind the taste - about 50% of the time I will finish the OG sample.

Because you have started high the Final Gravity may not match the recipe, but you could put your actual numbers into a calculator to get a new estimate.

I wouldn’t be happy having a stringed instrument next to the boil kettle though!
