Try it but I think you'll find you don't get the can contents very well mixed.
You can use a paint mixer on a drill to help though.

That doesnt happen anyway, i gave up on sg readings with kits because stirring cool wort can attract infection. Simple fact is, if its mixed a little, the yeast will find rhe sugar :-)

tbh, I did this with my last brew, as I didn't have much time, so could sterilise the 2nd FV. Fortunately, it was only a 15l total kit, so wasn't so bad. Put 11l of the cold water in the FV, warmed up the kit, poured it in to the cold 11l of water. Saw it start to get quite settled as it went in. Fortunately, I was able (I think) to fully mix it back in with the warm water and a lot of stirring about. Don't think will be doing it again though, especially not with a kit using 20l or so of cold water... wouldn't have the space to mix it otherwise for sure!
