First AG

Well it nearly 5 pm and my first ag is cooling in a water bath but as I've been drinking I did take some pics but won't get them posted till tomorrow but I think everything went well and very happy with results

Would that be, how does a woman hold her liquor - by the ears - ooops sorry mods.
 
I found that doing an AG brew results in a bad head the next day

May be due to the large amount of beer consumed whilst doing it :drunk:

It's not going mad but it is bubbling away slowly so fingers crossed
 
Nice one. When you start, you can't stop. I did my first AG two-weeks ago tomorrow (I keep thinking its Sunday!). There's 5 minutes left of the mash for #2.

I found that once you've done the first, you can then tweak your variables like dead-space, boil-off amounts so you can dial-in your equipment.

I hope your's is the first of many AGs :)
