Hi guys, just started my first AG brew and the smell of malt around the house is amazing...i`m nearly tempted to grab a spoon out of the drawer and start eating the mash....hehe. Just starting off simple with a plain pale ale, gotta walk before you can run. Have a few refinements to make to my equipment for future brews, but will get there. This one is an experiment, just to see. Wish me luck...HEHE ( nervous laugh ) HEHE

Hehe..Cheers Dennis...Just a wee question though that`s one of my numbskulls want to ask...I have irish moss for the last 15 mins of the boil....can I still add finings after fermentation?

You can but I wouldn't bother. It'll clear up fine with patience.

Congrats on AG#1 and welcome.
