Not too bad actually. I think the kit is a bit pricey considering it doesn't make a full fourty pints, consdiering it's possible to buy it for around the same or slightly less.

I found it tastes like Idris or that Jamaican stuff, quite pleasant. Unfortunately it didn't reach the recommended S.G. as the instructions say, unsure why not. In fact it I seem to recall it didn't make a decent O.G. either. Followed the instructions properly. :wha:

I barrelled mine, I'd certainly bottle if I was to repeat.

The Finlandia Cider is taking a slightly longer to clear than others I've done. Certainly a country/scrumpy cider, though I made 30 pints and upped the sugar for stronger brew. :drink:

Goodo! I will bottle my GB when i make it, I like it quite fizzy.

Is the Finlandia cider the one with a hint of pear ?

I've just tried a very small bottle of my Finlandia Cider. I've made mine a 32 pint kit using 1kg of sugar.

It's certainly different to my Magnum kits in the past. Definately a Scrumpy, but pretty sweet tasting. Tastes more like proper apple juice than regular ciders. For me I prefer a more sharper, crisper slightly dry cider, a medium. I wouldn't rule out this kit, though that's not to say I don't like this one. There's cerianly time for it to improve in flavour, the end result could be quite different.
