Filter for megapot 1.2

I have the above pot but was wondering if they do a filter like the bazooka for it. Currently it has a elbow pipe attached and it keeps clogging up.

Well after some research turns out you can get an adaptor from the US but not paying silly prices.

So I got talking to welder in work and he made this from a bazooka filter and the original elbow pipe.

get a couple of SS frying pan splatter guards, pull handles off both and pry the rim off one. (£shop??)
then use a length if split beerline to clamp the two together to create a mesh envelope/garth style mesh filter..

into the edge of one mesh, fit a rubber grommet suitable to fit snugly around your dip tube to push fit it into the filter..

edit be mindful of needle sharp wire ends of the mesh you pull the rim off

Already test fitted the one I got made and it fits a treat.

I used stainless steel scourers in mine, cheap as chips and work like a charm.

Just stretch them out a bit and put over the end of the pipe. When your done clean the pot with it.
