Since my return to brewing I've done a few kits with varying results, all have been perfectly quaffable, just some more so than others. But two really stick out, and they are the Festival kits, I've made the Festival Stag, and the Festival IPA. I don't know, is it just the addition of the hops that makes these beers so tasty. If I added hops to, say, a Woodforde Sundew would it have the same result? I've just finished a Sundew and it wasn't up to much really.

I must admit most of my beers I keg in a simple pressure barrel, but the Festival ones I bottled, would that make a difference?

Bottled and kegged beers will differ slightly and you might find you prefer one to the other. However from the ones ive tried the festival kits are great

I've only done the porter and it was exceptional. One of very few kits I'd make again. :thumb:

So nice to see the manufacturers taking beer kits seriously and getting the quality up.
