So I have a crazy idea. I have a 'proper' lager currently in my fermzilla, been about two week and fermentation has stopped. Will probably leave another week before doing anything but my intention is to keg it all and out it in keezer for a few months before carbonating and serving.
I have fermented this under very little pressure.
Instead of adding more CO2 and syphoning out via the floating Dip tube (which I normally do) given its under so little pressure, could I shut butterfly valve remove the trub filled collection jar, add my sanitised second jar and fit a disconnect to one of the posts open the butterfly and let gravity fill the keg?
