On all the beer kits I have done so far the instructions always say fermentation takes between 4-6 days, once bubbles stop rising and you get a constant reading with the hydrometer the beer is ready to bottle, however looking at some of the posts I have seen on this forum it seems people leave it alot longer in the FV. Can anyone advise how long it should be left in the FV before bottling?? :?:

fermentation normally takes 4-6 days. alot of people give the yeast some extra time so as not to worry and to drop clear and also because the yeast also cleans up other bits.

10 days is a safe amount of time to leave a brew it won't spoil and it is usually stil spritely
