I normally bottle my homebrew straight from the primary fermenter but this time I'm planning to rack it to another 5 gallon bin and add the priming sugar in there instead of the half a teaspoon per bottle. Which I normally do. Can. Anyone tell me how much sugar to put in the bin? Every time I search on the net I. Always find different answers. Most. Seem to say 3/4 of a cup. What size cup are they talking about? Can anyone tell me what this is in weight so I can measure it instead guessing 3/4 of a cup.

the usual amount quoted is about 80grams. boil the sugar up in some water, put that in ur second bucket before putting ur beer in and that will. allow it to mix

A cup is an american mesure. in cooking it is somewhere between 225 and 235 milileters/grams.

Desmond.
