Farty smell

I racked my stout to secondary today and umm it had a really farty smell to it and when i burped it tasted like the smell can i just levae in in secondary and let it mellow i used nottingham ale yeast. :wha:

That's not normal for Nottingham . . . Sounds like you have an infection . . .

I have never had that with Nottingham, had it plenty of times with cider though.

In the beer/cider that is not after drinking it. :lol: :lol:
