Hi

As the title says I fancy making a wheat beer but not been brewing long so I need some advice, well lots of advice please.
Can it be done using biab
What temp to mash the grains
Everything really and a good basic recipe too thanks Steve

For a decent, refreshing wheat beer just mash 50% wheat with 50% pilsner at 65c for an hour. Hop to 15ibu with a noble hop and ferment at 20c with a dry weizen yeast.

For an even better wheat beer do the same but with 100% german ingredients from malt miller and use a liquid hefeweizen yeast such as wlp300. Ferment between 16-22c depending on how fruity/bannanary you want it.

For the king of wheat beers do the same but double decoct the mash for extra malty depth and authenticity. Decoting is possible on biab, but it's not really a simple recipe. Though its pretty easy to do and defo worth it.

Though these are german wheat beers. I think american/belgium wheats frequently have spices in them such as orange and coriander.
