Saaz is the most obvious choice as a dry hop. Low-ish Alpha acid content is what you want, to go techy on you!
The Coopers Lager kits are fine with a BE and up to another 500g of table sugar (yes, I know) from my early brews. They make very sound and solid pale ales. A dry hop will give it a serious lift.
I believe that the European lager comes with a yeast pack that is half lager and half ale yeast. So I would suggest fermenting in the very coolest part of the house. Unless you have serious temperature control, it will turn out as a pale ale, at this time of year, albeit a nice one.
