There seems to be a lack of home brew clubs/meet-up etc in Essex. Does anyone know of any?

The local home brew shop is a funny place. I'm not sure whether the guy there cares whether customers come in or not. The advice is also a little bit suspect or perhaps just dated.

Is this the guy in Southend? I went there when I got my starter kit - I think the answer to every question was 'It's on the instructions'!

Yeah that's him. He's ok, just limited help unless you want basic equipment. There's no other home brew shop until clacton!

Yeah, I find it easier to buy online. And all the advice I need I get on here.
