Funny isn't it?
You can bandy around terms like "extreme" and suggest that the EDL "do foster racist views collectively, and individually", "harbour violent extremists", "encourage hectoring and bullying tactics", "wallow in nazi symbolism" etc without feeling the need to provide a shred of evidence to support those claims.

Can you find any evidence of Tommy Robinson ever making a racist comment?
Can you find any evidence of official EDL material that is racist?
Did you even bother to watch his Oxford Union address?

We have Tommy and his ilk disowning racists and standing up against an authoritarian gay hating, Jew hating, intolerant ideology hell bent on world domination - and they get called fascists
Meanwhile, on the left of British politics, we have Livingstone ranting about Jews, councillors John Clarke and Ilyas Aziz expressing anti-Semitic views and the glorious leader Corbyn with his terrorist "friends from HAMAS.
You couldn't make it up

He's a polemicist who uses partial information to present a persuasive and influential argument (to some). If you removed Islam (somehow) he would be anti-IRA, or something else. He's not impressive or convincing.

Neither are some on the left.

You don't 'win' this sort of problem.

He's a polemicist

Of course he is.
So what?
So is pretty much everyone speaking publicly in an environment such as the OU.
And you still haven't justified any of your claims about the EDL.

You're asking me to substantiate claims that the EDL harbours extreme & violent RW policies & behaviours.

That's a disingenuous point of view. Pointless arguing if you can't or won't see that as evidently proven.

Is that chap with the tattoos English or Welsh?
Swastikas have been around for thousands of years...Hitler reversed the orientation for his ideals. Originally the swastika was a mystical good luck symbol. It's found in this country from times of Roman occupation and is still seen in some eastern cultures.
I think we should start a movement of anarchist beer drinkers. ....

Looking at this thread if I ever decide to get a swastika tattoo ( obvioulsy never) I would need to first increase my body mass by around 10 stone and then proceed to dispose of any clothes from the waist up.

Reversal of the swastic/swastika is a myth. Almost all of the ones I've seen I India have been the same way around as the Nazi version.
Strangely enough, the folks that use them most call themselves Aryans and it's quite surreal to walk down a street with swastikas painted on buildings, worked into wrought iron gates etc and see businesses called "The Aryan Barber", "Aryan Farm Supplies" and the like.
I dearly wish I'd taken photos so I could troll white supremacists.

Don't like his right wing views, but his dedication to the Frisbee Catch salute is impeccable.
