I have calculated the efficiency of my first brew which came out @ 89%. Something is wrong or should it have a decimal point
The formula I found online was to multiply the Pale Malt weight by 300 and the other grains by 292 this gave 1023 & 143.66 respectively, total when added together 1166.66. This was divided into the OG of 1035.
The grain bill was:
Pale Malt: 3,410 gms.
Crystal Malt: 270gms.
Wheat Malt: 195gms.
Black Malt: 27gms.
Should all the grains be used in the calculation and is the formula correct.
