Thanks to the info I haven't tried to do a lager. I will wait until winter. I did put some more hard cider on and have got a barrel from wilkos with it in now. It doesn't taste as good as the first lot I did but I rekon that is also down to the hot weather and it might get better if I can manage to leave it alone.
Smileysmiles, I have looked through and dont get what I said that was funny, I'm on a tablet and it autocorrects things wrongly sometimes and I realist it put larger not lager, sorry.
