As I may of mentioned Mrs does a few wedding photos and she's doing really well, plus the money helps with her being at Uni doing a media degree.

Next on her never ending list of equipment is a PC upgrade, which is fine as I'll get a barebones system from ARIA.

To make things just a bit more professional looking for the DVD's she'd like to use lightscribe to burn a fancy title and logo onto the Blank DVD, could anyone recommend a brand or drive that's reliable, also a cheap source of lightscribe capable discs

For a reasonable price you can get a printer that prints onto (printable) disks. I used to have a canon that did.

I have lightscribe burning CD writer and to be honest, it's ok but nothing to write home about. Takes bloody ages too!

Thanks Tony that's given me an idea, I can lend a pretty good brother printer but will have to see if its any good with CD's

The epson photo stylus R300 is a mint printer for dvd cd printing in full colour.
Also try do a search for computer fairs in your local area you can get lightscribe drives and discs there cheaper than the main high street shops - also printers cheaper too.

Cheers Scream, we've had two Epson r200 and agree there very good printers, sadly can't get the ink cheap for them anymore

You can at computer fairs - i got external tanks on mine 250ml per tank!

Lightscribe is fine if you have a couple of hours to spare and want a faded image printed onto your disk. I had one and struggled to use it for months, in the end I got myself a printer that could print on disks. The disks are cheaper and it saves hours.
