Here at Hydes, we have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Brewer to join our experienced ‘hoppy’ team.
We will support you in working towards the newly developed Brewer Apprenticeship and in return you will receive:
- 32 hours per week
- 25 days annual leave

Here at Hydes, we have over 150 years of history and heritage. We are not only a pub operator but we also brew our own beer. In the last year alone we have produced over 50 of our own varieties of old favourites and new ideas. We have one of the most modern and automated breweries of its size in the UK, including a laboratory which is not typical of a Brewery this size.

This is where you come in…..
This newly established role at Hydes, will give you the ability to learn the brewing process from start to finish. This includes designing beer recipes, choosing the raw materials and ingredients, understanding the brewing process and innovative technology that we use, and finally understanding how the finished product arrives and is served at our pubs.
This will also include Quality Control, Quality Assurance and warehouse and distribution. You will also have the opportunity to learn from the best experienced team, including our Master Brewer.
