A quick (and hopefully easy) question...

I'm doubling my brew length from 25 to 50 litres for the first time...

Should I sparge at twice the rate, or should the sparge take twice as long?

I sparge bigger batches faster and get the same efficiency.

If you want a hand, company, etc just say and I will pop along.

What was that saying I heard the other week? "Ask 10 brewers a question and you'll get 11 answers" :D

Seriously though, thanks for all the answers. I know Kev uses similar kit to myself, and if his efficiency doesn't suffer then I'll do the same.

Cheers for the offer Kev, but for the first time I have a shed-full of people. My brew buddy can make it out for the full day, and various interested folk are dropping by. I'm usually on my own, so next time I'll give you a shout.
