Dispensing concentrated starsan/chemsan

I have a bottle of ChemSan, and it looks to me like there is some magic way to get the right amount out of the bottle using some combination of the two lids, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. Could anyone please help?

These always confuse me. Let me grab my bottle and see if I can figure it out (I make up smaller batches so use a syringe to take out a few ccs at a time)

Take both the seals off, put the right hand cap back on and squeeze the bottle.

There's an art with tipping it though or you get extra product coming down from the bottom, on top of what you've placed in the little square bit.

Lol. You shouldn't spill any. The little square thing will catch the chemsan when you squeeze.

I've just finished a bottle of that stuff, but I don't like it, it's too thin and watery. Replaced it with starsan - much thicker and better quality. I find 1 tsp of that in 5L is perfect.

Yeah you hold it upright and squeeze the bottle (lid off small section and on big section as TT says) which increases the pressure in the big section and forces liquid to flow upwards through the wee tube that runs up the side of the bottle into the small measured section.

Use a syringe - it makes life a lot simpler.

I use one of those kids double medicine spoons,2.5ml/5ml. I use 1.5ml per litre of water,so fill each side for 5l. Easy.

I used one of those kids measuring syringe (2.5ml). Super easy to be super accurate. No spillage trying to pour gloop from the flagon into a teaspoon!

I'm using chemsan,had email off MM saying 1.5ml was OK I seem to remember. Anyway it's working fine so I'll leave it as it is.

No worries. I checked the dose on the back of the container... 10ml to 5ltrs... so 2 ml per ltr... your choice.

I've checked the label on the chemsan...20ml to 20 litres.
There was a batch of bottles sent out with incorrect dosage info IIRC.

Website says 10ml to 5L of water. Looks like you got one of those incorrectly labelled bottles Clint!
