I have a brew to be aged in a couple of 10L mini kegs which i purchased recently from China. I then purchased the Spears separately for the kegs also from China. As i am here in Cyprus where supplies are useless and everything needed as a newbie is usually ordered on eBay UK. The UK homebrew websites wont ship to Cyprus. The problem is, the spears came with short dip tubes for the 5L kegs and it will be another month before i can get some more shipped for 10L keg. Do the kegs need these tubes or can i get away with not putting them in or putting the short ones in?
