Some of our Asian food is a little Americanized so it's not very Asian. It's good but not authentic Asian.
'curry' isn't even an Indian thing is it? I thought that it was a term adopted by the British based on 'kari / kaari' which I understood to mean gravy or sauce? It's the same here. In fact, not only are some dishes on menus in Indian restaurants in the UK unknown in India, many restaurants are owned by Bangladeshis.

The curry dish turned out properly on my second attempt. I used thicker noodles, broiled cauliflower and carrots and, of course, made the sauce. We're sold on it though I think I like it more than my wife.
We went to an Asian store to get supplies that I didn't even know existed. The store was gigantic to the point of not being able to find supplies quickly.
