This idea may fall flat on its behind. I am going to give a crossword type clue for a well known commercial brewery. Whoever gets it right first (as proven by replying in the thread) earns the right to give us a clue for the next brewery - and so on. Hope it makes sense. :wha:

I'll start with an easy one.

Brewery No 1

1000kg of Sweet Sherry?

I get Ton and olroso but am stumped.

Could be JW Lees they dow a harvest (sherry cask) ale
Thornbridge also do a sherry cask beer alliance PX.
:? :wha:

But thinking about it you have got start on a scottish brewery I suppose. so

My final guess would be Fraoch
Fraoch Heather Ale 20th Anniversary Ale

Tasting Notes: Heather ale matured in single malt whisky casks. Fraoch celebrates 20 years of brewing with this very special limited edition. 11% alc/vol, triple version: matured in ex-sherry casks previously used to mature single malt speyside whisky for 20 years.
