Starting the growth of this tonight FYI.

Got the vial warming up and 2 litres of wort bubbling as we speak. Will post a wee pic of it in the ferment fridge on the stirplate.

The plan is to double the vial in this 2 litres then split it. Half that will go to you (approx 1 vial's worth) and I'll build up the rest. Firstly I'll double and split again and then double up one of those halves for a brew in a few weeks. The other bit (approx 1 vial) will be kept for future use.

Well Graysalchemy was good enough to send me some Edinburgh yeast so I thought I'd return the favour. Plus, as I brew 40l batches now I need to build yeast up regardless. Makes sense to send a wee bit away and hopefully if a few others do the same we'll all be quids in.
