I got an email from sky saying "Your crime ref. no. 67HGF87D" (this is not the same code)
The email didn't explain what it was about so i began to think something was wrong, eventually i found out (googled) that its for a crime prog, what a fecking stupid email to send, i bet there are a lot of customers who don't realise this and wonder why they have received it, then spend money calling sky to find out what it is about.
Whoever came up with this one should not be allowed near a computer again.

Yeh I got one of these too. What a stupid email title, thought someone was trying to scam me using my email..!:D:D

I got that too - didn't spot that the reference number was a date/time at first. Anything like that I immediately think - scam and ignore it.
Idiots indeed. I bet their switchboards are ringing off the hook now.

What is it for ?

It is supposed to be advertising a new crime prog, they could not have made it more confusing.

If i could get Eurosport on any other box without moving from Talk Talk i would kick them into touch in an instant.

Oooh, you cynical so and so... but yeah, you are so right :thumb: . We only took Sky because we were O2 and they offered us TV, phone and broadband for 12 months for an up-front payment of 110 quid.
They are relying on us getting hooked on their TV crack and continuing to shell out 70 quid a month for it once the contract is up. In the absence of children screaming for their MTV, this is unlikely. That's what the internet is for.

Got that one too and thought it was something which would easily confuse people, very bad practice.
