Couple of questions on the monthly comp...

I'm sure the answers to these are somewhere on the forum so apologies. Can anyone direct me to them if so or just a quick reply here?

I'm submitting to the pale category this month. I have the judge's address.

1. regarding labels, can I attach a tag style around the necks of the 2 bottles instead of a stick on type?

2. Anyone advise on the best, safest and cheapest means for posting?

I guess I will just use Royal Mail?

I am judging November comp - pale ale.

I am not fussy on labelling. As long as I know what it is and who it belongs too I don't mind.

There are various packaging out there - check eBay. Find something g that works for you. If it's too pricey to send two bottles one will be find.

Royal Mail charge £2.85 for under 2kg if sent as a second class parcel. That's what I use. I can trust my postman to leave them somewhere safe if we aren't home.

Second what Leon said, you only really need to send one bottle.

There wasn't much of a standard used in labeling the entries for October, as long as they include basic info like name etc it should be ok.
