Landlord.
I've read somewhere (can't remember where) about transferring beer from one corny to another under pressure.
I think it was referred to as 'forcing' or 'force jumping'.
If I had beer in corny#1 and then pressurised it; can I then transfer it to corny#2 using John Guest fittings to force it through #2's 'out'
If so, do I need any special fittings?
I'm assuming that if it can be done; all I need is a length of 3/16th pipe with an 'out' fitting to attach to corny#1, and another 'out' fitting for corny#2.
I seem to recall reading that you need to force the beer in through the dip tube to prevent oxidation and excessive foaming...........but then again, as far as these things go I am a total numpty; so I'd be grateful if someone could clarify.
My thoughts for wanting to do this - clear the kegged beer in corny#1 with gelatine and then transfer to #2 for better portability.
Many thanks.
