Corny lid

Hi all,
just aquired a couple of cornys to go with my ever expanding collection
These have come with lids that have thread on them,
which I've no idea what the purpose of
Anyone have any ideas.?

Looks like it has been modified to take a small gas cylinder (sot sure if it would be an s30 or one of those attachments for an 8g co2 bulb)

I thought that but how would you regulate the pressure?

I don't think it would be possible. In the same way it can't be regulated in a pressure barrel.

Perhaps they just use a quick blast to seat the lid, carb with sugar and then blast again as required for dispense only.
