Coopers IPA -anyone tried this?

Hi all.

I just bottled batch of this - used 500g of spraymalt and 500g of brewing sugar.

What's it like?
I don't even know what IPA is supposed to be like - I tasted a little bit and it seems nice.

What would be a commercial equivalent so that i know what to expect?

It's a good kit. Before I joined the Dark Side I probably made about a dozen of them.

Latterly I added some hops to boiling water (hop "tea"), boiled for a few minutes and added the liquid to the batch before fermenting. Just added a little more flavour and aroma to the brews.
