From what I gather this kit is ready to drink more or less straight from the vessel. It's a ginger beer kit with ginger and citrus flavours, any suggestions on how to make it into a ready to drink xmas type thing? I don't want to over spice it so I reakon mulling spices would have to be done carefully.

I would suggest cinnamon, 1or 2 teaspoons in a mug, then add a tablespoon of syrup onto these stirring to pick up the cinnamon into the syrup. Add 1/4 mug of boiling water onto the mixture and stir to dissolve the syrup. When syrup is dissolved add to your kit before pitching yeast.
HTH

ive just made a few batches of fiery ginger beer, i sampled a bottle the other day and it tastes like paint stripper lol. not sure if i did something wrong or maybe if its left there will be some magical transformation? im thinking the best way to get a good ginger beer is to tweek this coopers kit to give it a kick and a higher %. not sure why you'd want to add something xmassy to it as surely all the mince pies etc will do that trick. :)
