Decided I couldn't wait any longer today and tried my Canadian Blonde that I bottled just less than 2 weeks ago. Now wish I hadn't :-( Tasted a bit like when post-mix soft drinks have very little syrup and lots of fizzy water.

Just hoping I'm way too early and it'll improve with age..

Yes you're far too early, I've done this kit and after 4 weeks post carbing was a great bbq/'euro'/lawn cutting beer, even my dad liked it who after many years of brown mild is now the unofficial spokesperson of carling in his house

give the beasties time to soak up the off flavours and you'll appreciate it alot more - says the guy whos never bottled as prefers it being in my king keg so i can 'sample' it :p
