I recycle my bottles and caps. If you give the a gentle shake (inverted) you soon know if that are sealed, cos they drip.

Yes, it looks like I failed to tighten the caps.
I'm only in 1% doubt about not having primed.
Put it down to experience and I'll be double checking from now on.
And as suggested, a check after a week or so.

I also have a large number of Coopers bottles that must by now have gone "around the block" anywhere from 10-20 times. Have removed the annoying ring that is left after the first use on all of them now, but I also get the odd bottle that was not screwed on properly and so get flat beer.

A great solution is to pour half the flat beer into another glass and add a fully primed bottle, half to each glass.
You could even do a "Boris Spassky" and drink them at the same time, one sip with either hand from the two glasses.
