I enjoyed and learnt a lot from these in the past but purposely sat out last year as I wanted to focus on repeating a few styles to really dial in my processes and recipes.

I'd be up for doing 1 or 2 this year though if there was sufficient interest.

Ok then!
What styles tickle everyone’s fancy. I wanted to do an American Amber, but would be happy with a Brown too. A super hoppy Cold IPA was also on my to brew list.
Post a coupe of styles your interested in and I’ll do a google poll with the candidates.

AA or AB potential for me as well.

Others on my planner that haven’t quite tipped over into action yet are chocolate porter and Wadworth Swordfish (bitter with rum addition. Is that even a category? Beer with spirit adjunct?).

Brown ale would be nice, I don't get many of those. Might be interested in a porter as my friend is wanting be to brew a historical London porter. Less keen on new faddy versions of IPA , but a traditional English IPA might be nice

We had one vote for sour and one for a fruit beer.

I made one in 2023 which was part of the summer brew and swap, and as I can’t remember much about it, perhaps it was underwhelming.

As I’ve done this before I’ll give it a miss.

Definitely up for the American Amber, as that’s a new one.

So no I can’t help 😀

I've brewed a lot of kiwi pils with different hops and in my experience bitter with magnum or something similiar. I find kiwi hops very harsh when used for bittering despite some being dual purpose.

This is my experience too - might be better with a low alpha variety though, which I haven't tried yet.
