if i got hold of a pub style co2 cylinder how would i connect it to 3-4 plastic barrels or would i be better of buying more S30 and just swapping between barrels
I ask this because at xmas at a family gathering different beers will be on offer i hope  :?:

I don't think the plastic barrels can handle the pressure from a bottle of pub gas i'd think you'd be better with the s30 but I could be wrong.

I have a mate who got hold of some aluminium beer barrels from a friendly pubowner. He made a tool that depressed the flange at the top to allow him to sanitise the barrels and rinse out and then does 2 kits at a time (80 pints) to fill the barrel and then connects them to his pumps in his home bar with a large CO2 canister and runs it through secondhand coolers. Tasted good when I tried it. I know that doesn't answer your question but maybe an alternative and if you could get some smaller alloy kegs that may make it more of a goer?

It should be fine for low pressures. I believe that the max is 10 psi.

Use a universal barrel hose to each S30 connection and use John Guest T fittings to split the gas line off.

I would have to use a pressure gauge and adjust like you do with a corny
just want to save some money towards a couple of cornies or larger kegs like legless says
