Hi guys,

I have this pressure barrel from Tesco and a CO2 injector I bought to give it a little fizz. I intend on making a rather large dent in the amount of beer I have this evening. On Tuesday, I injected one cylinder of CO2 into the barrel. I have just had a little taste and it is a little fizzy. Is it safe to shoot in another cylinder before I drink it without picking bits of plastic out of my face?

Cheers!

I would see how easy it is to pour first before injecting again.

Since Tuesday your beer will have absorbed some CO2. If you inject another at the moment with the intention of consuming tonight then most of that CO2 will simply be top pressure rather than contributing to the condition of the beer so there is no point in creating too much pressure as it will be difficult to pour. Just use the CO2 to achieve a steady pour.

Have a good evening.

You could get someone you dont like to add another co2 capsule :thumb:
